Test Chart Considerations

Imatest software uses test charts to measure the quality factors of your imaging system. Charts come in a range of sizes and substrates, and you can use the Imatest Chart Finder to determine the size of your imaging plane and help select the chart(s) you need. When handling a test chart, always ware clean, white cotton gloves to keep it free from blemishes and dirt, and be careful not to drop or fold the chart.
