Checkerboard

• Local Magnification - adds the ability to calculate local magnification and associated metrics based on the method of Wang et al. [1]

Stray Light (Flare)

• Geometric camera model masking: with the OpenCV Fisheye, Brown-Conrady, pinhole & radial distortion
• Easily use the same reference image detection settings as analysis image mask settings.
• Analyze a single color channel.
• Keep all connected components in image processing masking.

New Outputs

• Color/Tone CCE Summary Metrics: JSON/CSV results now includes the mean color contrast enhancement (CCE) from all patch pairs.
• Flatfield nonuniformity with respect to center ROI:  JSON/CSV results now includes the uniformity of the side and corner regions relative to the center region, as a percentage (0-100).

Main Window

• Open an image in Image Statistics via the thumbnail menu.
• License Manager: New Offline Deactivation workflow and general stability improvements.

Color Science

• Now includes the ability to use Display P3 (D65) luminance weights.

New Frameworks

• Imatest IT is now compatible with .NET framework 9.0

Deprecation

• OpenGL renderer will be removed in future versions of Imatest.

Known Issues

• MacOS builds are not yet notarized. This is the current workaround:
  
  • System Preferences. Security & Privacy.
  • Under the General tab, click Open Anyway for Imatest Master.
  • Select Open. Proceed with the installation from here
• Linux mp4 file read/write does not work
